anw today i went out with my dad and sis to buy luggage.
we had 2 alr but seems not enuff for our family.

bangkok thailand is the destination.
im more looking forward to the hotel we will be staying
baiyoke Sky hotel with more than 80 storeys.
waohhh....
will be my first grand accomodation i ever stay.

today is my big big day.
i passed my class 3 driving.
my first attempt leh!!!!
but frankly speaking i think luck plays a very impt role here,
let me elaborate below:

i was the last few to be called by the tester.
my tester is a malay guy.
look stern and firm with a black suit case.
but still i find him friendlier than the previous testers that came in and called their students.

in the circuit there wasnt any cars except the tp cars which it's like more than 15?
i think bcos it was their lunch break.
had s-curve, then vertical p, slope, directional change, crank course and lastly parallel p.
he dint gave me e brake.
and this is the lucky part cos my damn idiot instructor told me 5 mins before i went into the room. he say he dint want to tell me this earlier cos it's very easy even a 3yo kids would know how to e brake. wth... he just dowan his brake to wear off ba...

i was going to be tested on the test route 6(the steep steep slope)
that is the most i fear of all the teck whye route.
cos of the last incident whereby my car rolled down and behind was a police car.
after that incident i have phobia in doing that slope.
and well my instructor say i cannot use alot of acceleration when doing the slope.
but the main reason was not bcos of the demerit points but merely cos he wanna save oil.
thus i told myself dont care his word while on tp cos he is not around.

buttt...
my tester suddenly ask me to do test route 8(the big big u turn)
i was like great!!!

upon driving back to bbdc,
i wasnt familiar with bbdc entrance.
thus when he asked me to drive back i was kind of lost like which way to enter.
i change up my gear not knowing that bbdc is right beside me.
but this was not in my demerit list cos he knew im a pte candidate =DD
damn ps la =((

ok then when we are back to driving center,
i was told to go back the classroom to wait for him to print the result slip.
he told me about my mistake and congratulated me for passing on the first attempt.
i was like really???
he laughed and said that he could actually change it if i dont believe.
lol...
overall not a very strict tester but very firm =)

...

i calculated the total amount i spent.
gosh i dint know i alr spent 1500 in driving.

anw monday gotta go bbdc for driving license cos i dint know i would pass this time and i dint prepare a passport photo with me.
anw not impt cos i alr passed.
buttt....
my pdl gonna expires on the 2nd mar.
so dunno must renew anot before i take my license.
must ask first cos no money le.

my bbf treat me to breeks cafe for lunch.
told her my happenings during my tp.

im sorry to my another bbf for not able to meet up today.
bcos my parents wanna celebrate my big day.
we really dint meet up for long.
really must catch up fast kk??

went to eat zhye char again.

eat anything also can cos it is the thoughts that count rite.

happy bdae to porky... hehe.. this yr my bdae hangout is at amk again. but is with different companion. i am not celebrating my bdae alone. im also celebrating my darling bdae. we are both born on 10Feb^^ but to be exact, im few hours older than her. so she sang bdae song for me first. we dint get to celebrate tgt in the past bcos she lived in msia. but this year she had moved out to spore and work. we both have fun today!!! this yr celebration is also meaningful for me. sptt is the first to celebrate my bdae. followed by my family. then my co EWET. and finally my dearest buttie.

sptt alr mentioned in my previous mail. so let me start of with my 2nd celebration. went to eat zhye char with my family. my treat to them. they wanted to buy cakes but everyone was so full thus decided to call off. anw my sister bdae coming too. will still get to eat my cake by this end of the month. ^^

next saying about my co. though is my last week of work. they never fail to bring me surprise. my colleagues are really nice ppl =D we had nasi briyani today for lunch and ended off with a bdae cake.

and today after work i went to meet darling. she is currently working at Ascott one of my co business partner. both of us are stuck in tourism industry. arr~ we had a movie (love matters) and afer which we bought 2 mini cakes for celebration. simple day yet heartwarming. i believe we are the 2 most happiest bdae gals today.

exactly 20more days to my tp.
buttt... still very lousy, may not be able to have my tp that day if my instructor thinks i am I.F kind of standards. Arrgh, stupid slope cause me panicky. always rolling back and worst still today a police car was tailgating me... haha mayb they wanna see my PDL. gosh~ one thing i understood, there is no correlationship between no. of lessons and quality in driving skills...

exactly 1 more week and i will be "graduating" from my ITP.
haha... its time for me to relax le cos i told my boss i need an A to get me into local Uni. well, he went to told my i/c to give me A. ahaha.
buttt...
the more i think of it, the more i feel that i am not returning him a favor. he wanted us to stay in this company. haix... i got no motivation to get up early to work every morning since many weeks ago. colleagues are very nice, it is jus sometimes i feel that im those kind that will get sick from doing the same job everyday. i don like jobs that i can actually able to predict the outcome even b4 i do it. so well, he ask the GM to talk to us this morning. he gave us this weekend to think over and asked us to give him an ans next week. i got the ans in my mind long ago but somehow the $$$ is my main concern. no work meaning no income for me... how??

今天是大年初一，每年的这一天我和我的家人都会聚集在我ah ma 家。
每年都好热闹喔，大家都变了样。不过和ah gu 道是一样那么风趣。呵呵呵。
今年和以往不一样的是，我的表哥带了他的gf 来。他长这么大这是我第一次看过他的gf。
我的大姨快要当婆婆咯，因为她的儿子也就是我的表哥今年四月会注册结婚喔。呵呵呵。
我好兴奋因为我们家好久都没有喝喜酒了。
今天三姨有一点小发烧而因此便high过头了，一直拉着人合照。哈哈

ytd after work went to ajisen@ tiong bahru plaza to meet my sptt buddies. 9 including me turn up for the dinner. i was the last one to reach cos of the springcleaning task in the office and some lucky draw thing. guess wat? i wanted the bird nest and abalone so much but my luck was not there. i have gotten a bottle of xo brandy which contains 40% alcoholic content. left it in the cupboard for display at home =(

my sptt clique got me an advanced bdae celebration. they bought ice cream cake for me with raspberry flavors. haha. very yummilicious ya.
but this is my first time seeing my cake with 2 big candles. arr... 不认老都不行了！
i am very thankful for all of them for celebrating my bdae b4 cny as they are having their examinations in feb therefore most probably i cant get to celebrate my actual day with them. so sad~

and ya... my pengpeng got me 4*pocky for representation of porky. haha... really appreciated him for thinking of such creativity idea.

my chelle got me a small notebook with a card attached on it. so sweet of her writing the mushy stuffs in the card. i will place it in my drawer forever and took it out whenever i miss them de =D
all of them are my greatest achievements in my life. they give me hope, happiness and precious friendship moments that i will keep them remembered forever.

had my very first picnic with foureones last weekend...
enjoyed myself with the bunch of them.
had many photos taken ,
but i will only upload when i have the time.
everyone has their own path...
i am still not sure of mine.

study or work?
both has it pros and cons.
shall not probe about my path this time.

today after work about 7pm...
i had buffet dinner in a coffeehouse @ parkroyal hotel (beach road)
with caron and her husband, along with richard...
quite a nice buffet session but as usual , feeling uneasy after the cab ride.
they were so nice to me that they initiated to take the mrt home after the dinner.
a very nice colleague i have in ew.

i am counting down each single day.
no doubt the company treats me well.
but sometimes i could no longer take the stress in me.
there were 2 of us , one could knock off on time and the other slogging in the office everyday.
there is really no such things as fairness.
i am always the one that have to work more to get the same returns.
yes i am complaining now...
i dont really like her attitude in work.

2 more days in FIT dept.
maybe that is when the relieve comes in...
my colleagues are giving me alot of morale support and encouragement.
i am glad that i still have them believing in me for whatever i did so far.

pre xmas celebration in my co.
as usual la all kinds of celebrations in ew.
had attended training workshop in the morning.
lunch were eaten in co itself.
janet ordered caterings.
had xmas lunch together.
after lunch is the most exciting part of the day.
we had xmas gift exchange.
china, msia office staff joined in the fun as well.
i think is more than 5 times i have co. lunch/dinner.
really enjoy partying sometimes.
today got new assignment...
that is to be a translator.
dunno how long it would take me to finish translating all of the booklet.
gosh! chinese rusty le...
must faster brush up.
good news!
my ceo is giving me year end bonus.
she mentioned is not much when i was called into the office.
but i really appreciated her for looking so high upon me.

i am shocked. totally shocked!
why???!
today my colleagues and i were discussing about the coming xmas when we saw a huge real xmas trees being delievered into our company. one of them told me that in the previous year during chinese new year, janet tan collis who is my ceo, packed the red packets with min of $20 and max of $200 and mixed it up for them to draw and see whoever luckier one get the big fat ang bao. i asked them about xmas celebration then but since they only joined this co. this year so they dunno what janet will come out with. i tot it was fake one and i dint get to see real trees in any of my work experience before. this time im really impressed by the generousity of janet tan.
being curious, i started to dig in janet tan's profile. guess what?
she is the vice president of SACEOS which is qy current itp co. now you know why she keep talking le ba?
my colleague told me dont believe go google and check. before i could type her full name, i alr saw JANET TAN COLLIS as one of the search topic. can u believe it? im in a co. with such a respectable ceo in it. i think i am blessed to be in this co.
they told me janet is very strict in the interview process. everyone has to go thru 3 rounds of interview. i managed to run away from the interview cos they based me on my CV.
now i am beginning to sway towards the idea of continuing.

shuqi told me that i would be joining the mice department from jan onwards.
shuqi was told that there will be many upcoming event in jan.
i am excited about it alr.

MRT issues

recently i realised sth which it nv used to happen in other days...

everyone is avoiding the PIORITY SEATS in the mrt train. XD
ytd i happen to read mypaper in the train while standing...
i flipped to a page whereby they were discussing the 10 behaviours one could not tolerate in the train...
few days ago,
i read about the woman with 2 kids were not given a seat and the lady seated on the piority seat acclaimed that she was tired.
i read about those unglam behaviour in the train such as nail clipping, smoking etc.
i did not really managed to see the latter part so i couldn comment but not giving up of seats is what i disliked most esp. when i see people dress smartly and fight for the seat with the uncles/aunties.
today as usual i took the train towards marina back home. i saw a few couples saying about not to take up the piority seats as they have to give up to others if not they will be regards as those reported in the news. i think even if they were not seated at the so call "piority seat" they should also be ready to give up their seats to people who need it more.

but i admit sometimes i fell asleep on the way back and did not realised people that needs the seat were standing in the train... i shall do some reflections on my own too.

that my daily routine.
my parent co. sponsored a movie that is yet to be shown.
tmr we are invited to screen the movie at suntec eng wah.
but i dont feel like going.

my colleagues are still nice.

she keeps buying bf (breakfast term used in tourism) for me.

had a cab home just now...

we had a mini farewell lunch for raine.

they asked me if i would consider furthering my studies.
i dint ans and then they asked me to join the co. after my itp.
stunned.

the more they look highly on me the worst i feel.
its only week 7.
who knows after the 10th week i might turn lazy, not much of motivation to work.
i am those 3 minutes drive.
stressed.

good news!
my supervisor gave me B this time.
i now have more Bs than Cs.
cheered.

had a very full dinner after work. shuqi raine and i went to bugis to have our steamboat dinner. we intended to eat at the 重庆火锅, but the price went up to $18 per person. so we decided to try the opposite one-天天火锅. i felt so nice having steamboat in the rainy weather. raine is a marketing executive in ew. she will be leaving the company soon as her last day is thurs and maybe joining as a full time teacher in a secondary school. she is one of the colleagues that i am most comfortable in when crapping. haix after she leaves, i get fewer to crap in the company. we promised to meet up at least once a month for dinner. hahahha... hope we can really stay in contact in future. like i said earlier, turnover rate in ew is super high. according to my ceo's fren, she describe me as a prisoner who needs to serve 5 month imprisonment in ew. and now 1 month is over. left with 4 months (not exactly 4 months, another 13 weeks more). haha... time is real fast. going to end my week 7... hope to learn more though. make it clear: i am not a workaholic, it is my principle to do as much as i can and learn as much as possible.
updates!! according to my colleagues, i am going sit for another site inspection at one of the hotels and have a another buffet dinner at the inspection site. lalala... work is getting so far so good except the ots.

next week onwards i am gonna have a fruitty diet ^-^

yo! had a very expensive dinner just now. i went for a dinner session with 16pax russian tourists with 2RSG. the restaurant was located in sembawang park- Beaulieu House. the bills was over 700 bucks. can u imagine it is more than my itp allowance. they are so damn rich ppl. anw i dont get to pay a single dollar and i have enjoyed myself having dinner in the sea breezing atmosphere. i was so disappointed. i had taken many pictures and now its gone due to my itchy fingers pressing the delete file button in my phone after thinking that i have actually transfer over to my com. now everything is messed up and there is no way i can get back my photos. arr.
hmm i still have some but it is those taken after the dinner. haix. ok stop this. i have sth else to say.
from the bottom of my heart, i like ew. though OT is a common routine, i nv dragged coming to work. i have been learning new things everyday and when my colleagues compliment me i feel great. esp when my supervisor and ceo they actually make me feel that my presence to them is not a nuisance but someone that could get their stuff done properly. i enjoyed so far for the past 5 week and the 6th is ending soon. in my FIT dept, there is no such thing as backstabbing and selfishness. everyone is so willing to teach me whenever i have doubts. nevertheless in the very beginning i used to think that ew is another company that is DIY. but after getting along with them, i find them nice ppl to work with.... lalala... time for bed now! bb =DD

its my 4th week of itp. so far so good... had been getting C for the past weeks. i think my supervisor is really stingy leh...
anw i keep thinking if my the person who grades me is another person i guessed i will be getting dist. whahaha. jk.
the reasons why i made that statement is that my CEO likes to chat with me. today she just ask me to help her and her husband to da bao... and my lunch is on her treat today... my fren who the other intern told me that she purposely walked towards me and asked me instead of her when my desk is the furthest away. omg... but i still dragged her along to walk towards the market.lol. secondly, my department all hated the GM and the DOS. today we had a long long meeting. and WW3 was throughout the entire meeting. everyone is playing taichi. hehe... luckily im not involved. well so far when the GM and DOS asked me to do sth, they are very polite and keep smiling at me and thanking me. dunno izit bcos im just paid 600 bucks to do the work anot while others got few more 0's behind.
my supervisor sabrina is on leave till my 6th week of intern. well i have decided to pass my logbook to the DOS to grade me... see if it works. haha.
anw i find the company is interesting. so far for the past 3 weeks and the current 4th week, i had been eating cakes all the while. today i just had one too... i heard that my CEO hubby's bdae is coming this week. omg another expensive cakes from all the many many stars hotels. so far the company had been constantly celebrating ppl's bdae. first is my supervisor, followed by my DOS, and another executive. now it is going to be my CEO's husband. in the hotelier industry, every sales and marketing managers are so fake. they send flowers and bring cakes to our office whenever big boss or managers's bdae. and cos of that 1 person bdae could receive up to many many cakes. and it all more than a kg big. i think when comes to those "ka kia" bdae, no one will give a damn not even a single leaf . haha. this is wat i call life. i had eaten more than 6 cakes within 3 weeks coming to the 4th and there is somemore cakes to be received this week. omg. for the past week ihad been eating dinner late at night. till now i dont dare to step onto the weighing machine. hahaha. kk... going to buy my dinner soon... shall stop here then =))

another week is coming... will b my 3rd week of itp... had been feeling very very tired these days especially weekends. sat: had gym-ing session with shimei... nice endurance for me... i ran on the track for 20mins and cycle for another 20mins... think i should burn come calories ytd... bus 74 is real real slow... the driver at msot drove at 30km/hr. i took 1.5hrs to reach hougang from dover... i swear i will not take that bus no. anymore... sun: had driving lesson in the early morning... abit stress with the lesson cos i think im quite slow in those coordination... i dunno what im nervous about on the road in the beginning that i jammed brake... i think the instructor abit worried for his car being knocked down by the car at the back... very sorry. went pizza hut with family for lunch to celebrate my sister's bdae. her 8th years old celebration... too bad she hasnt recovered from flu... her tastebud was not functioning properly so she still dont know how tasty the pizzas were. after so long i finally visited my grandparents at toa payoh. had tze char for dinner... im tired now... muscle ache after not straining my muscles for so long.

i still rmb last yr this date my family and i had neo prints at cwp after our dinner. the day where my mum and dad married. so fast this yr is their 20 anniversary. we had tze char this afternoon followed by desserts @ swensens cwp. i had really enjoyed myself this whole day as finally i get to see some bright colours in my family... things finally get to resolve... hope things stay this way throughout... and have many many more years of anniversary ahead^^

whoohoo!! im back here blogging... had been hectic for me the past few days... not much sleeping hours for me... the reason is as follows:
26/9/08-28/9/08
worked as banqueting crew for ritz carlton @ paddock club.
grouped into the 2nd biggest suite...
make new friends there...
upon asking their institutions, i realised that half of the group were sp DTRM yrs 1/2
they told me the pain they suffered in school, and i totally understand their sorrows...
was serving banquet at paddock club -claymore II
a tiring job cos we had to stand for long hours and had to set the tables, clear the tables
and the transportation was freaking late...
the first time i ever stood up so late at marina square/suntec. fortunately, we have a nice in charge and i had a very understanding captain. my toe nails "bu zhen qi" broke off during work period and i had no choice but to take off my covered shoes... ah boon informed william to get me a pair of shoes so that i can change to sth that is comfortable.and then they insisted me to do the buffet line cos it is less tiring and walking... they are really ladies and gentlemen...

all due to stupid LO- WANG PECK HOON
she is DAMN IRRESPONSIBLE i kept emphasising the fact that we got two diff address and had advised her on which one to go to... she repeatedly told me is at SUNTEC... and guess what... we were supposed to report at the other branch. so i called up on that idiot and asked her why she dint told us is at diff place...

and here is our conversation:
me: good morning miss wang(8.30am), im huiling. i would like to ask you why is it that the person at the door told us that EW has shifted to another building when u asked us to report at suntec?
idiot: huh? what u mean? why are u there now?
me: (in a very shocked tone) today is the first day of our itp!
idoit: oh... ya... izit? i get back to u in a short while...

and the short while is really "SHORT" she DID NOT CALL me back!
ok nvm fine... we asked the EW incharge for direction to the new building...
lost our way along the bus journey...
me thinking that idiot would have ought to know the exact new location, called her up.

and this is another part of our conversation:
me: miss wang can i ask u how exactly should we go about to the company cos we lost our way there.
idiot:im not sure... u shd ask the supervisor
me: fine nvm... put down the phone in a very frustrated mood...

different rsvn system from what i've learnt in school...
site inspection at shangri-la hotel after work...
we walked across 15acres of land...
nice ambience, nice greenery(though i didn get to see the green), nice scenic view from the hotel room...
offered us dinner buffet at The Line...
very expensive one for it cost 103++/person.
food variety was awesome...
a pity that i dont eat oysters as tuesday was their day...

had been long time since i last blog... im at last back from 3d/2n sptt chalet.
did not catch much sleep there...
had been quite a fruitful gathering for at least i get to know the yrs 1 better...
i guess that will be my last chalet with them in my poly yrs.. =[
one of the most memorable activities we did was to have the overnight cycling ytd...
we rent a total of 11 bicycles and travel all the way from pasir ris to changi village...
it was a long journey when we travel to changi village...
we spend twice the time travelling up then travelling down...
had some tim sum and the guys were interested in seeing the "man-made beauties"
all our butts were like cracking when we returned to the chalet... lol
we had a hero in the team...
jf the hero learnt to ride the bicycle for less than an hour and had managed to cycle with us all the way throughout the journey...
really an action that worth to be mentioned... ^^

ks called us up on our way...
he was in LA then...
he will be backed on the 4th oct...
will be seeing us during polite...
not very sure if he is playing for the mens team...
hope we will have a chance to meet up when he returned... =)

im back! quite sometimes since i last blogged...
ok...let me summarise what i've done tis few days...

(@7th sept)
i went for formula one trg at ritz carlton...
will be working from 26-28th sept
8.30am-1.30am for 3 consec. days
hope to get alot alot of TIPS from the guests(preferably not the sporeans)...
after the trg, went down to bugis to get formal shoes...
shun bian bought a red shorts for casual wear since i will be wearing FORMAL for whole 5 months...

went for my dental appt in the afternoon...
back to cwp for recontracting my mobile plan...
bought myself a phone...
SE W980...piano black...
finally retrieved back my caller id... =))
went sptt trg in the evening...

(@10th sept)
went to bishan SE shop to exchange a new ear piece...
and i was damn upset when i reach there the sale assistant took the ear piece and try it was alright...
had that ear piece back home...
stupid me wasting a trip all the way down...
in the evening acc qy to checkpoint there to get her shorts...
after that went down to john little to get my cosmetics ready for formula one and itp...
i've signed up as john little member for the sake of getting the 20% discount on the beauty products since it is free anw...
bought a lip gloss, two way cake, facial cleanser, a base (dunno how to say)...
i dont usually put make up and thus i knew nth about make up...
so i jus heed on qy's advice on what to buy and how to apply...
spend $42 for all the above...
not done yet...
still got alot to buy... =((

i woke up early in the morning to study for ftt...
went down to bbdc @12.30 to take my practice...
failed my practice...
went down to the canteen to study for the test @4.30pm...
all those i've done during the practice, none came out...
and i happily tot lucky i got do the practice if not i will fail during the actual test...
all gone to waste...
on the actual test itself... majority of the qns is tikam one...
and im really blessed this time round...
many alien qns were not to be found in the textbook i've bought it...
wasted my $3.90 and $5.35 for the ftt...
haha... i am just a miser on such things...
but anw since over le...
shall not probe about the money matters...
what i am thinking now is when shall i take my tp??

i PASSed my BTT! haha... miracle does happen sometimes for me. i reached bbdc at about 1.15pm and my test started at 2pm jus now... finished my test qn around 15 mins after the commencement of the test but i did not want to end test so fast cos i scared if i were to fail then the 2 guys seating beside me will know. haha... so i checked my answers again... but till the qn3, i kind of irritated by the slow uploading thus i ended my test immediately... and i PASS! hehe... 1 step further to my class 3 license...

after my test, i headed to ritz carlton for photo-taking session.very mafan but i had to go for the sake of $$$... 1 day gone jus like tat... left 26 more days for itp... freaking fast!!!

@1 sept 2008,
it was a monday, i went to the airport and overnight there to send my classmates off to orlando's disney world for their itp... had shimei's and qianyi's accompanied there... we reached there around 11plus going to 12am and stayed there till the first bus for operation around 6am. shimei did her pp there and halfway thru she decided to watch her 命中. as for me, i had to study for my btt on wed but i kind of slacked that time and i kept talking to myself while studying =.=
we were at mac all the way till 4am to catch the shuttle bus to terminal 1. there was quite a few of my classmates there when we reached. took some photos, exchanged our farewell greetings... had our cryings and then left the quiet airport after that.

today my itp company is out. just as what i have expected earlier... i got into the travel agent(inbound). i dint get any calls for the itp interviews from any of the companies. went to seek advice from kwl and b4 i could tell her my company she told me east west will not call for any interview. it all based on resume and cover letter. haha.. and i told my frens b4 i dreamt of me inside east west doing the itp. what a dream! =) it is the second time the dream felt so real... the first time was during o levels eng and amaths when i actually could dream of the topic and questions that will come out during the exams. think of me make me goosebumps.
well it has been finalised and it 100% certain that i will need to travel all the way to boon keng. thinking of the journey make me feel restless le... wat to do jus endure for the entire sem. and ya my fren could come and visit me after work and i will be very touched.

spore flyer, olympics, revision

last thurs i had a job interview @ ritz carlton for the f&b catering during the F1 period. after that went to have lunch at popeye @ the singapore flyer. with the help of my classmates, i managed to get on to the singapore flyer with the complimentary ride issue by their supervisor. there were me, qy, zk, and sh at the capsule along with a malay family and the angmoh group. thinking that i will not get any chance to ride on the flyer again, i took pics like there's no tomorrow... =))
frankly speaking, the ride was not fantastic as it ought to be. it was a long and dull ride with not much scenery to be seen. it will really be a waste of money to spend on such attraction site. as a tourism student, i feel so siao suay that sg got nothing interesting to offer.

ok enough of the complaints, coming to my revision for exams, there wasnt much progress made this few days. my mind was all about olympics game. everyday i watched at least 5 hrs for the olympics game... whenever there is table tennis and swimming there will be me sitting in front of the televsion watching my fave idols. michael phelps who won the 7th gold today was really not easy for him... by 0.01 sec and he will lost to the hungarian... but nonetheless he skills was awesome despite being the few last at the 50m, at the 150m, he came up to become the first few. i almost thought he will not get his 7th gold this time as he mentioned himself 100m butterfly was not his strength and indeed, it was a mere 0.01 sec that led him to his 7th gold. no world record was established this time.

i watched the semi final table tennis match- sg vs korea. it was a absolutely fantastic play by feng tian wei. she was a really cool and firm player that i have nv seen in lee jia wei. i nv like lee in the very beginning. she gave me a kind of 不屑 look, a kind of feeling that she think herself as the only one that can help sg to live up her dream to get the olympics medal ever since the silver medal in 1968 by the bodybuilder. her play was very impatient. without feng tian wei, there wont be medal for sg... and im sure feng will be well recognised by sg instead of lee..lee shall be the calefare this time round. tmr is the final between sg and china. i think sg will have a chance to get the gold medal if feng play as well as how she played with dang na and park mi young. as for lee, nothing much to hope from her... she is jus not as professional as feng in terms of handling her emotions. jus hope that wang yue can do well her part during the double match.
if feng is play against wang nan tmr, i think feng will have a higher chance of winning. let see tmr...

tis few days have been sleeping in the early evening and wake up in the late evening... stomach feel bloated during the sleep cos jus ate dinner and then went to sleep... sure must have put on weight tis few days...
now so awake... but i dont feel like starting my revsion yet...no choice really got to start fast cos i dowan history to repeat again...
haix... headache ar... ytd was flipping thru the maths notes... i used to like math alot.. but now im like forcing myself to like maths for these few days... haha...
wonder how it will turn out to be... i got a pathetic C during mst... i nv get such a lousy grade for maths in my entire 19yrs of studies...
as for law paper... i kind of nervous for the paper... the more i wanna aim high, the more panic i get...
i got a very bad feeling this coming exams will not turn out to be my way... work hard ba... i shall let miracle take on me this time... my last lap in for exams and i shall endure to the very last minutes.

long time dint post le... today i had jus ended my 3 1/2 days work in the starhub olympics roadshow. managed to survive and earn few hundred bucks... =)) went to work on friday after school... there was no crowd and i could hardly serve any customers. easy money...sat was ndp... while working at the roadshow at suntec, i saw the performancers for the ndp parade. cool ya... during the work, i could say most of the time i was catching the olympics show on the LCD screen. swimming,weightlifting, beach volleyball, running, basketball and etc. it was nevertheless the most entertaining stuff to do during the long hours of work. slack. no crowd... i serve 2 customers only. today was the last day of the work.. woke up late and reached there 45mins later. my legs were intolerable of the pain for standing more than 10 hours str. had photos as usual... that was the norms in the toilet. slack.

ytd went movie with my family, we watched money not enough 2.
its a pretty long show with a happy ending. me and my sis cry at the part where the 3 musketeers's mum passed away... haha we both are those kind of very emotional soul being... my parents keep saying that the film dont worth only 1 star rating... it should rate more... haha... then my father mentioned that the one acting the mother looks like the bigger version of our grandma. =.="
anw the funniest part of the day was that my sister bought the movie tickets 6 hours earlier before the movie actually began... she bought the front seats when she actually can get the behind seats. i complained to JF (saw him with his mama and gege) when he told me they bought it 3 hours earlier and they were seated 2 rows behind us... lol... my sis explained that she nv buy tickets herself before( hinting that her bf always the one queuing and paying for the ticket)... memorable movie session with them... =))

porky went out with a bird and a squirrel ytd... jk.. is with shimei and sam... we went out to chill. went to orchard... far east to visit stage and we saw an actor/host quite ugly one... accompanied shimei to get her long champ bag in paragon and taka... the one that the looks dont worth $215... in the end she listened to us so $$ is saved. went to taka to visit the toys departmental store. shimei and sam had a great time describing the different ethnic race's barbie dolls... went next to books store. had a great time walking aimlessly.
after dinner, we went to cineleisure... told them about my working place at bakin' boys... after that we walked to ps... again we went into a book stores. both of them i would say are pretty much into dogs haha...
after walking so long, we decided to buy bubble teas and sit down for chats and it was quite an enjoyable session with them...
they were kind and nice chaps ... instead of taking their purple line... they send me till amk and took a bus home. thanks... i must have done sth good in my past life to get them as my frens... had a great time with them... =)) i've got such a bunch of wonderful friends...
we promised to hang out often next time... hmm but the late queens shall not be late in future=x

school was mundane as usual... i dont like school... haha... but i like friday after school... no stress... no project... only walking and relaxing... met up with adiba jus now for dinner and shopping at imm... we have lots of fun and i felt very relaxed with her... is like suddenly there's nth about projects come to my mind... i finally found and bought a cute grey umbrella that i liked it real lots... then i psycho-ed her to buy one for herself and i did it... she bought a blue one too... =)) she also managed to buy herself a pair of shoe from everlast... after that, we had our dinner at SPAGETTI TOO... a relatively cheap place for people like us who were poor to have our meals settled at... we ordered lots of food and it only cost us 10bucks each... the mushroom cream soup was thick and creamy, the chocolate brownie was yummilicious, and the spagetti was tasty as well... definitely worth more than $10!!! back home at around 10pm... project-ing resumes =((((

it is now 3.30am sunday...jus nw ms tweety came to cwp to look for me... i was seriously touched when she said she would come and look for me when she actually lived in hougang... so i promised her i will go there visit her next time... we had our dinner at sakae sushi ($ jus came in time ^^)... we went in at around 7pm ba and we came out from sakae at around 9pm?? as usual everytime when me and my frens sat down for our meals, the turnover rate for that table will be very low for we will sit there for very very long... =))

we talked alot about school stuffs, cca stuffs, guy stuffs and as well as gossipped about other people stuffs... hahaha... then she complained to me that she no longer looking forward to her bkk trip due to some reasons... i think just 顺期自然ba... who knows it may not turn out to be that bad?? think on the positive side ma... haha...

went to see the criteria for the napfa passing scores in each different segments. guess wat?!? i realised the scheme is getting tougher and tougher as compared to my sec. days... the minimum inclined pull ups is 5-7 in order to pass. wth... last time 3 alr can get gold liao... now only for a pass i need at least 5... not to mention, the standing broad jump need at least a distance of 156cm to pass =.='''

went to look for all kinds of mp4... wanted to get one but still deciding on the brands... went to the iriver booth first, then to the sony booth after that to the apple booth... $199, $249, $238 respectively for a 4gb ones. i like the look of the iriver brand... i like the ear piece from sony... but my fren tell me to get the ipod nano... haix... how ar? i think i jus have to consider again these few days while working at the roadshow... maybe last day got better deals ya.. haha.. =)

dint blog for a few days le... this few days got good and bad things happened... say the bad thing ba.. my phone spoilt and it's no longer be saved. i lost most of my frens contact... i will try to get these contact back shortly... i also spend alot of money this month. i got no money for the entire month le... now solely depend on the money i earned during the starhub work.

as for the good things.. i got myself 1 nice bag and 2 pair of shoes. i also got myself a shorts and a skirt. haha... the bag and shoes are my cups of tea... i like it very much and my sister who accompanied with the shopping agreed with me to the purchases... hahaha... the bag is last piece and the shoes design was one and only... =) lalala.. i think most likely i will wait till very long to have the next shopping spree... unless money money falls down from the sky (dream on !!!)...

early in the morning i met up a fren for a jog at the stadium. we ran for 6 rounds over the track. haha... i was totally exhausted after the 5th round so i decided to brisk through the 6th round. enjoyed the jogging session with her =]

is the problem lies in me? i actually wanted to ask her many times when msn-ing. i wanted to ask her: are u really that bz with ur school work? or u are just trying to distance away from us?
somehow i dont have the courage to do so... when i read up her latest entry, i actually have a person in my mind but that's was just my own thinking. we cant rule out a possibility that the person she referring to might be me myself!
well... i think the friendships between the five of us had gone down the drain. is it bcoz of someone who interfere? it is bcoz of jealousy? or it is bcoz of badmouthing? i am not sure... cos i am actually a victim from these possibilities. wat i could say now is if given me a choice to return to the past, i wont befren with all of them. i think that would make my life easier.

i am very piss off with my internet connection now... tudou is sux! i keep buffering and buffering till now still haven get to watch my fave show. haiz so slow... nvm shall blog while waiting for my videos to be downloaded... ytd after my trg, i met up with vanes and qy for lunch. we went to somewhere near bukit timah to have our korean cuisine. the menu items were priced rather ex. but the restaurant's sevice was quite good. we were treated with some appetiser before our orders were ready. after we have eaten our meals, the staff treated us with vanila ice creams... got so full after the meal. haha... it's kind of worth it bcos i dint eat my dinner after that. ok i shall continue watching my videos... nites!

nv update since the last entry... was tied up with projects projects and projects... here is a summary of what i have done: 17-19: having holiday over the vacation. my parents and i went to Genting. we stopover at KL to do some shopping. dint bought much stuff. jus a white belt and a green mango tee. we headed to genting for a stay of 2 nites. on our way back on the 19th, we went over to Malacca. my father's boss mother wanted to have some durians ya so bo bian got to stop there. i was sleeping throughout the 9 hrs journey back home. oh btw, onboard our coach there is this tour guide that stay throughout our journey to and fro. his name is called 小李. he resembled the 一人一半singer. my father and sister were guessing his age. i took the courage to get the answer from him. haha... he told us that he studied this tour guide course for only half a year and he is granted the license. sound so easy rite? haha... why didnt i get such easy life in my academics? 20: oh know... i got home very late on the 19th cos somebody wanted to get some durians and the tour guide was so helpful in getting those requests done. really look up for his gems. on the 20th, it was the so called math quiz. i dint get to revise much for i was tired after the long journey and also i wanna catch my cjxgdd to see my jinlun performance. that ep. was duet with another singer and his partner was shino and he got it! haha.. but sad to say he is soon leaving the competition. he got to do his national service liao... =( wait! abit drift liao.. ok back to my main topic. i was saying that on the 20th morning while on the train i get to do some last minute revision. heng ar.. the quiz was actually some revision on the internet. and i got full marks.yayy!! 22: projecting after lesson. was doing our tle report.one word to sum up my feeling for tle "rushed". pingpong training after projecting discussion. chelle is leaving me liao... sobb. but nvm hope u will do well with xq. jiayou the both of us! 23: actual submission of the tle report. the report was due by 5pm. we were still in the library doing our final touch up at 4. we printed the report at 4.30pm. we ran to the photocopy shop to bind. it was by then 4.45pm. anw conrad was a nice and easy going chap. honestly i feel that he is the best lecturer i had for this sem. 24: back to school in the early morning for training. chelle and i was the first to reach. wahaha. we know what to do for the future sat training liao. went back home after having lunch with chelle and causeway pt. switched on my lappy and worked on my ppt slides for pp project. stay bz online throughout that evening. one report done!project stress were just a beginning. 25: it was a sunday. but definitely not a relax day for me. i went to vanes house to do our pp discussion. discussed about how we want to present, the slides layout as well as the role play that we incorporated in our presentation. reached home around 8plus. watch the charity show. very touching and sad for some scene. but then i dint cry over the show. my house was almost flooded with my sister tears. haha this is the first time i dint cry when watching those sorrowful scene. yayy! (cos i was working on my ppt slides for monday presentation..haha) 26: arrgh.. early in the morning we got to do our presentation on professional preparation. our topic is on office etiquette for tourism and hospitality industry. abit difficult to relate the "office" in tourism. but we overcome it! the role play done by my groupmates were superb. i couldn hold on to my laughter cos they were jus golden house drama actresses. one presentation done! got home worked on my imit report. another word summed up my feeling for imit:"confused" i was stucked halfway while doing the report. while doing the report, another thing caught me to panic as well. tmr will be my mfb mst.already 10 plus and i have not finished the report. and finally i got it done around 12plus. do my mfb revision online browsing thru the lectures on blackboard. slept around 2plus. 27: mst start at 9.15am. i dint prepared myself well for that paper. while doing the paper, i dont have the confident. i kept thinking that i got the wrong answer and it should be this way not that way. my paper was damn messy and untidy.cancel marks were all over the pages. i think the result is predictably bad. i expect myself to get above 80 for mfb. i think abit hard now. =( went home after imit discussion. my whole week was packed with projects, discussion and tests. started to work on the report after dinner. started having backache not long while writing the report. once done, im off to bed. it was the only day i got an early 11am rest. im just completely exhausted! 28: today! i got up at 6am by vanes sms. went back to sleep and woke up at 8am to pick up siwei call. but im grateful she called me that time or else i wont wake up to go school early for project discussion. reached school around 9am, bought my breakfast and headed to library to continue reporting. we were inside the library since 9am and we came out from there at 4pm. we skipped our lunches because there wasnt enough time for us to complete the report. the submission date of the report was today by 4pm. we were slightly late for the submission but luckily the clerk dint stamp the timimg on our report. god blessed us! upon the submission, the "rocks" were all dropping from our hearts. we finally overcome all the projects!!! hurray! =) on my way back home, i decided to stop over at causeway to get my contact lenses. i spend $60 plus for the lens and lotion. abit heart pain but ok la.. dint spend much this month and tournament was around the corner. so ya.. jus spend this once and for all... haha... maybe i am used to writing reports, i dont feel tired typing all this out... or i guess it's all bacause i suddenly dunno what to do during my free time now!

tired!!! jus came back from trg. today not much trg done. i think it's merely matches between me and my frens. had a all rounded victory jus now but of course la got some handicaps when i played with the guys. jiayou jf and pl, given the skills of the 2 of you, im pretty sure that i will lost the next time round. today's winning were blessed by the lady goddness been with me. i got some pointers from es and i promise that i will take note the next time round.
today after school, i met jonathon beside mlt 11 to collect my watch. he actually came all the way up to biz school from his sma building. i thought that the sun was pretty hot today and that he had to walk under the scorching sun just now just to return my watch. i felt kinda bad having to trouble him everytime. a very big thank you, jonathon =)

yoz! its time for me to update the happenings for today. well... nth pretty interesting actually. me vanes and i shopped around wm after school. we had ice-creams over at swensen. we ordered 2 ice-creams... banana sth sth and cookie sth sth... after we had finished with the ice cream, i started to stone and qy said that i looked like im meditating. haha... i dont deny that i was rather tired at that moment... cos im those kind 吃饱了睡, 睡饱了吃^^
i could still recalled that last friday we also had sth on after school. it was qy's big 20s anniversary. we went to botak jones at clementi to treat her fish and chips, smoky turkey sandwich, and chessy fries. it was yummilicious... to think we actually spend most of our time glupping and munching...lol =p
time really passes darn fast... weekends are coming... and i supposed it's time for me to work on next week tutorial.. sian... :s

finally had my trg today... after ivp it has been for about 3 months i had not touched my bat. although today was the first trg for my yr 3 poly life, i kind of enthusiatic while pairing up with michelle. today we play fairly well after so long dint get to train with her... haha looking forward to many many trgs ahead. after the trg , me xq and sean went for dinner at clementi... it kind of bringing me back to our earlier days... very happy eating with them esp xq... i can say the feelings between us is back. i hope it will last... =)

school started for 3weeks plus... yet i realised sth only this few days. i had been getting lazier with assignments, tutorials and texts reading. i did my tutorial last minute...i did the shortcut way while reading the texts and i have not started my researching yet...what on earth am i becoming nowadays... where have my new resolutions gone to??
today is ph... stay at home sleeping for the whole day. i jus couldn concentrate doing my stuff. am i running away from sth?? rang up cai coach in the afternoon telling him about my plan. he seems to be happy with my ideas. he even wanted to treat me coffee bean and tuna sandwiches. haha :DD
i think coach treat me the best in the team now... he will always be the only one that i can confide in. not that the rest did not treat me well... i also dunno why... jus simply couldn say out...

ytd i met up with shimei at causeway pt after her ut. we had dinner at food court and had desert at gelare. had fun chatting with her=p . went to watch they kiss again ep 20. it is the last ep of the entire series...quite sad to be parted with the show. i got runny nose today. ytd i suffered from migrain. now i felt my whole body was aching and burning hot. lucky tmr is a holiday i can take time to rest well. the day after tmr will be qy bdae. i shall get well by then to celebrate her bdae...

todae after lunch at fc4 qy accompanied me to bugis to get xp her bdae present. when we reach the "ah boy" shop i dunno which helmet to choose from...suddenly forgotten how her current helmet looked like. so i decided to call khim to ask what kind of helmet would she fancy. luckily she told me she actually took fancy of a helmet where the shop is located at serangoon rd there. she gave me 5 clues... mustafa, farrer park mrt station, shell station, big and clourful display helmet at the front of the shop and shop at the corner where the unit no. is around 500-600 . so me and qy is like treasure hunting... took us quite a long journey to search for the shop but hardwork pays off when we saw a shop with similar descriptions...btw the shop name is chiap lee co. unit no. 590 haha... i think i am quite irritating jus now when i kept calling khim for her to tell me the location and the type of helmet she will like. maybe qy and i too happy for the purchase, we actually lost our way getting back. the shop owner told us to go straight and turn right where there is a bus station for us to take bus back to bugis. we went there but there is only buses travelling towards toa payoh and chinatown. to take bus back to bugis. then we decided to walk back to farrer park mrt station to go home straight. but eventually we walked all the way back to bugis from serangoon rd. we almost lost in our way where we are surrounded by the blackies. but fortunately we met some kind hearted souls whom actually guided us the way through =) during our way the sky was like filled with dark clouds but luckily we were being blessed from the rain. overall the helmet come no easy and really hope she will like it. haha...actually cant post it now cos she only will get it on friday 12pm but my hands felt itchy if i don’t blog todae and anw she seems busy this few days so i guessed she will not be reading my entries this few days so just post it... dont care…oo =p

today i had a nice chat with a fren... good news and bad news... mayb i shall state the good news first. the team will soon be reviving!! i shall not disclose any further... those who interested to find out more can approach me in msn ya??
as for the bad news will be quite alot to say bcos i had been hiding it for long. i feel that im quite a busybody sometimes when actually i can sit back and do nth rather than doing alot of things. i always ended up doing a great deed for the team and the team members but at the same time it caused myself alot problems like conflicts, cannot get along well with someone etc. although i keep telling my frens that i would not care anymore for the team or watever stuffs that need my help as i always feel that i may do alot in the beginning but when things go smoothly i become totally inexist, however, it's abit difficult for me not to care and help if i have the means to do so. mayb tis is my life and is determined that im a somebody at the same time im oso jus a nobody. mayb when my frens read bout this they may feel hurt or angry with me... but this is really my thoughts and it had been kept long inside my heart. now i no longer have the captain's title and i tot life would be easier for me cos whether the team is formed or not is no longer a big issue for me. mayb im wrong... i may seems unbothered by sptt stuff but when i see xq got so worried that the team might not be able to form i couldnt take it so lightly anymore. haix... very vexed now... why do i have to keep the sufferings myself??

today was my 2nd day of school... got 2 modules with ron and it was like hell to me... i simply dont appreciate his way of teaching and so unfortunate that he is my personal tutor for this sem... i had done with his past modules- yr 1 sem 2 ggt, yr 2 sem 1 ihro, yr 2 sem 2 gom and is like i will nv get As for his modules. haha... my final sem in sb and i guess cos of his 2 modules my gpa is predetermined. well, let me summarise what i have been doing on moday(1st day of school). my lesson on monday started at 9am and ended at 4pm. mrt was exceptionally congested and on my way to meet qy, i saw a big bunch of sp students crowded at the mrt station. as usual, i like to judge from their bahaviours whether or not they are yr1s(=p)... i started to recall my first day in sp. my class gathered together at control station there and climbed up the slope together looking for the classroom for our econs module-i will nv forget bcos the very first day first lesson our lecturer cum tutor by the name of tan lim lusia reprimanded us for being late! =p. as days passed by, u will no longer see many ppl waiting at the mrt station.
ytd my 1st lesson was professional preparation. i kinda interested in this module cos i can really take up what i have learnt and applied in my career, esp the part on the designing of my own portfolio( i finally got to figure out what exactly portfolio is about!!). though is mila's lesson, but yet i dint get to yawn in her class =p as for my 2nd module, it is integrated marketing in tourism, nothing much to say so skip. after all my lesson had ended, me and qy went for our hair cut at international plaza. i simply like my new hair style and it the ever first time a haridresser told me about “cheng ci gan" and had spent more than a hour to finish cutting. reached home bout 6plus going to 7.
as for today, my first lesson was mathematics for business. to think i got As for all maths related stuff in pri, sec, poly 1s and 2s, i kinda stressed up with indices today. had to keep troubling qy to coach me, apologising now haha... after that went to bizlib to print out lecture notes for ron's lesson at 1pm( airline services management)and 3pm(resort management). i told my vanes and qy as if he will gain commission like that keep saying must get the books by hook or by crook. i had bad experience last sem with his gom module, told us to get the textbook but in the end it was not of a great help to me. the textbook he recommended had many examples but were all based in united state( very chim ones!!)... i got a strong feeling the air transportation and resorts book he asked us to buy today would be more towards the united states... we shall see... anyway i dont intend to get a copy for each maybe i would go by the crooked ways...=p
well for tomorrow, haha my lesson will be starting at 1pm and finishing off at 2pm. will be accompanying vanes for haircut and maybe i shall colour my hair ?? after that will be our shopping time!!

we shall wait and see... many things will be happening w/o our notice.

ytd dint managed to post entry cos very tired le and com was giving me alot prob.so i will post it down now...ytd i was with adiba whole day... she accompanied to dhouby ghaut for my watch to get repaired.. so sian must go there another day to collect it. and cos i dint had my breakfast earlier on so we had our early lunch at banquet. after that we headed to marina square and suntec for our shopping spree.. i bought a blouse($36) and a handbag($55) for myself. i spent $100 over for the entire day and it's the first time i ever spend so much in my life. i gave myself alot of excuse such as reward myself after a few days/weeks job, wanted a handbag for so long(before holiday commenced) and i finally found one that i liked it alot blah blah blah... we went back to causeway to have our dinner at cavana(*halal) before we headed home. ^^ tml gonna start my yr 3 academic le... i feel kind of enthusiastic... dunno why jus looking forward to be in school instead for me to rot at home surfing net doing nth... but definitely not going to be excited for the first lesson tml (*mila).......nooooooooooooooooo!!

ytd i went to jb with xp since early morning and i reached home around 12.45am. we actually planned to buy alot of stuffs from jb. however in the end i only got myself a personalised shirtie while xp got herself a personalised shirtie and a green hoodie... i actually wanna either a red/green hoodie too but dont have my size... lol.. coming to that, i felt so ~~lucky~~ unlucky ytd cos those that i like (shoes,blouse,belt,skirt) dun have my size/colour. haha... but i dont felt disappointed at all cos i believed that wat is urs will eventually be urs and there is no point forcing urself to buy the alternatives. i am happy for xp when she got her hoodie cos she had been searching for long in sg and she got it eventually(somemore it's green =p). i actually told xp several times that the feeling is totally different for me when shopping in jb than in sg. for our meals, we ate vivo(lunchy) at city square, dunkin donuts at jusco as our snacks , and kfc(dinnering) at holiday plaza... almost all my money spent had gone into my stomach but... i simply lurve the feeling =p

my phone is back to me now... i thinking of buying a new phone cos this phone keep giving me trouble. haix but my father kb me say wat trade in $60 might as well sell to him... sian... jus now while chatting with xp i told her the watch they gave keep giving me problem and i tot of going down to the retail shop to send it for repair. i went into my room to get the watch and wanna look at the outlet where the watch was being purchased.. guess wat? there's nth wrong with the watch... so i decided to wait for a few more days to see if the watch is giving me anymore problem...

woohoo!!! i have just ended my starhub roadshow todae. jay kept picking on the angels todae and he was the most unreasonable guy i had ever met in my entire life. shimei and i were trying to find places where jay couldnt find us and stone there as much as we like and in the end we did.. yayy!!.. then after the snack break me shimei and glissa went to our secret hiding place to slack as usual.. suprising i took some photos with them today ^_^...going to relax for the whole week and afta that i will get serious with my academics cos thats me and qy new semester's resolution. good nites~ zZz...

jus reached home afta work for the starhub roadshow at suntec. i guessed starhub did not met their sales figure cos they keep chasing us to knock off b4 2130. but eventually i still knocked off at 2130 itself. lalalala... it was super slacked today compared to the IT show we had done on the 6-9th march'08. i did not have any contact with the new angels from adecco cos they got trg together got bonding le ba i guessed. however, today was the first time i ever chat so much with willie. he looks cool and abit "dao" in appearance but in fact he is a humorous guy. tml gotta count down as usual while working cos it seems like staff was more in qty compared to customer that approached us. but i kinda look forward for tml work cos afta that i will break my $1000 earnings target for these 10 weeks vacation. gotta sleep soon.. breakfast with shimei and mayb johnathan tml... nites~ :D

it was so bored during the briefing at suntec... in charge was like sh*t. at first i tot david was calculative but i dint know that jay was even worst. i dunno how to endure over tml and sunday... argh!!! adding on, the uniforms that we were given was like so ugly ( i prefer the previous one... simpler!) dont say bout work le... todae is my mother's b'dae, but due to briefing i missed the celebration. i was kinda disappointed when my sister smsed me and told me they had eaten. but anw afta briefing glissa and jacq accompanied me to get durian cake and durian roll for my mother. :P
todae b4 the briefing, i went lunch with johnathan. he promised me that he will give me a treat cos i done his quiz and i got above 40%. but i actually didnt plan to let him treat me cos everyone of us work hard for money and it's not right for me to ask someone to treat for nth. i promise i will treat u back asap maybe afta the roadshow? lol... he told me im the first gal that he felt comfortable toking with. i felt so honoured to be his fren.

went to the angels chalet ytd. hmm.. dint really do much there.. jus crap alot, bbq, cards playing... check out at around 8 in the morning. took mrt and reached home at 10am. both tired and bored for me cos i was alone throughout the journey home. had some fun there and due to some ppl being emo towards his fren, i was being bullied by sam aka the marshmallow boi cos shimei loves his bbq marshmallow ;) but nvm la i can understand how he felt when his fren dont care him, lol... so the entire chalet i spoke most often to jacq glissa shimei and sam. sry to jacq for not being able to accompany u to watch sunrise. i was totally shagged at that moment and all i could think of was to get some rest b4 checkout. sam wanted to cover me with a blanket while i was sleeping... haha but so coincidental that i happened to open my eyes as he were approaching me.. lol.. really appreciated sam edmond and johnathon ya.. :P i can say that the guys with us were all kinda gentlemen.. playful but kind at heart. keep it up kayy? hmm... i dunno when will the whole 16 of us meeting again(shimei u r included too )... nice angels, nice frens to be with..
hmm.. tml gotta start trg again for starhub.. going bz soon.. but looking foward to work with my angels again though some nt working with us for this coming roadshow. sadded :( do come and visit us in the roadshow kayy?

cheesy turns rotty

last few days dint do anything special so i decided not to post any entry...lol.. today went over to qy house to bake our cheesecake...although it's not the first time vanes, qy and me baked the cake, but the outcome is not good compared to out first try. lemon oreo cheesecake is the first cheesecake we ever made. as for today, i shall name it as sugar free cheesecake mixed with 苏打饼. in layman term it's basically "bo ho jia". hahaha... and ya today i was late.. then when i reached qy house they were alr doing... i dunno how to cut in between them then end up almost 85% i dint do anything... lol... forgive me ya?..
then after done with the cheesy, i went down to the giant(imm) to check out the pricing for the bbq stuff... i was kinda angry with their service standard. as i was unable to find the charcoal , i went to ask a sales asst and guess wat? she directed me to find the promoter near the bbq/kitchenware section. i told her i couldn find anyone near there then she asked me to wait awhile maybe the person went to the toilet.. so i decided to walk around while waiting for the person to return. in the end after walking 2 big rounds, i went back to the bbq section and still nobody were there.... i decided to give up and walk out the imm blg... speechless.

IF she had her way, Janet Tan-Collis, chief executive officer of East West Executive Travellers Centre in Singapore, formerly Franco-Asian Travel, would have been an archaeologist or an interior designer and not a travel agent.

Ms Tan-Collis, the mother of two teenagers, Sarah, 15, and James, 13, said: "I would have loved to deal with textures, colours - anything that has a touch of art." But being the eldest of a brood of six and a dutiful daughter, Ms Tan-Collis opted for work that guaranteed a steadier income. "Since I had to help my parents, I had to be practical," she said. "In fact, most of the decisions I have made in my life have been the practical sort." Respected in the travel trade for her professionalism, sound ideas and outspokenness, Ms Tan-Collis sums herself up in one word - passionate.

Whether it is discussing the travel agency business that she and her husband, Digby, set up 14 years ago, their children or the needs of the travel industry, she is never coy about communicating her thoughts and feelings. A captivating conversationalist who often speaks in staccato beat, she is an excellent listener as well. There is nothing she relishes more than a good argument.

One person, who enjoys sparring with her sharp wit is former business associate, Mr Leslie Choudhury.

The business development director, Asia-Pacific of Interval International, said: "Janet has been friend, foe, partner, supplier and client to me. Her tenacity is matched with the warm, fuzzy feeling she gives (me). She may be passionate but deep down inside, she is a pussycat."

In an industry, where only a few women occupy high-power posts, Ms Tan-Collis is always cited as an inspiration to her female colleagues and peers. But her success - or anyone else's for that matter - should stem from a commitment to one's interests and beliefs, she stressed.

"When you are backed up by factors as strong as those, it is no longer a question of whether you are man or woman. You just stand up for your issues and try to drive the points home. There are opportunities for everyone if they are brave and open enough. I am certainly trying to build a second wave of managers in our agency."

Ms Wendy Holloway, executive, special projects, describes her as "a great teacher, who provides autonomy but is still very much involved with what we do".

Ms Holloway appreciates Ms Tan-Collis' style of challenging her staff. "She does not like silence. She wants to know how you think."
